Privacy policy

Short version: we keep as little as we can, we do not sell anything to anyone, and we do not put a cookie banner in front of your customers because we do not track them with cookies.

What we store about you

Your email address and a hashed password. We never store the password itself.
Your codes, designs, hosted page content and uploaded files.
Your plan and a customer reference from Dodo Payments. Card details never touch our servers — Dodo handles payment and is the merchant of record.
A session cookie so you stay signed in. That is the only cookie we set.

What we store about people who scan your codes

A scan is recorded as a timestamp, the country and city Cloudflare reports at the network edge, the device type, operating system, browser and language. No cookie is set on the scanner, no identifier follows them between codes, and IP addresses are not written to our database.

You are the owner of your scan data. Export it as CSV whenever you like, and deleting a code deletes its scans.

Who else sees it

Cloudflare, who run the network, database and storage this service is built on.
Dodo Payments, for billing.
Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or share data, and we run no advertising or analytics trackers.

The public record

Continuity pages at /verify/<code> are deliberately public. They show a code's slug, where it points, when it changed and the hashes proving nothing was rewritten. They do not show your email, your account or anything about the people who scanned it.

Keeping and deleting

Scan history is kept while the code exists, subject to your plan's history window. Delete a code and its scans go with it. Delete your account from Settings and we remove your account, codes, files and scans; the public continuity record of a code keeps its hashes, because a record you can erase is not a record.

Your rights

You can export everything, correct anything from the app, and delete your account yourself. If you are in the UK or EU, that covers access, portability and erasure. Ask us through the in-app report form if you need something we do not already give you a button for.
